In the 48th year of the Republic of China (1959), the central region suffered severe flooding due to the 1987 flood. Overseas Chinese people heard the news and donated money to help. In 2000, the Tzu Chi Foundation joined the adoption and supported the reconstruction of the school building. In the same year, a new temporary school was established at Jinqiaoguang Baseball and Softball Field (at the junction of Denghui Road and Yufu Road). Reconstruction work. The new school building was completed and opened in 2002 and moved back to its current location from the temporary campus.
