The first time I went to Hualien to play, I do n’t know where to rent a car. The owner recommends it. It is close to the station and easy to pick up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The "Taroko Car Rental" across the street stopped renting to people who do not have IDL or local license recently and recommended us to go here.
The representative here was straight forward and only required a CC, drivers license(M license preferred) and passport # to photocopy. He was nice enough to let us rent the scooter and let us send him a picture of my passport via LINE. Only costed 350 for 24hrs or 50/hr. + refuel when returning(gas is super cheap like $5CAD for a full tank).
To not spoil this for other tourists, please review the scooter/motorcycle road rules. Like no right turns on reds and the 2 stage left turn.
