Fantastic restaurant!! Must visit!

Pretty good duck, juicy and flavorful carved tableside with beautiful presentation. Large variety of side dishes, though there were a few hits and misses here. I recommend the sour plum fried chicken and stir-fried vegetables, but a few of the other courses like the porridge and fried duck bones weren't very good.

Food is so delicious! I will recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.

Poor epidemic prevention policies, faulty thermometer and not properly recording peoples temperature, too many people, no space/social distancing between dining groups, and zero options (rice and cabbage only) for vegetarian family members.

Nice place to taste Taiwanese roast duck

A fantastic choice of a restaurant when looking for a Beijing-style roast duck a la Taiwan. The ducks are only 75 days old and run/waddle around outside on Taiwan's east coast, and that makes their meat tender and juicy and scrumptious, indeed. For two people, order the set-meal and request the bones made into a soup to take home for a second meal for 2. The skin and meat slices are wonderful, the veggies fresh and crunchy, and the service, as always in Taichung, is efficient and friendly. Around NT1500.

Xiang Duck is a new brand under Wowprime and focuses on serving delicate Peking Duck & modern Chinese cuisine. The decor is elegant and classy with both authentic & modern elements. They use the high quality duck from Cherry Valley, which is located in Eastern Taiwan. The duck is grilled in low temperature and then dried for 24 hours to seal the best flavor. There are multiple ways they suggest like wrapping with pie skin & dipping with special sauce, to enjoy each bite. We got their Combo for two to share with a group of three and the portion was pretty decent. The combo came with Half Peking Duck set, appetizers, 2 savory dishes (Tofu Stew & Plum Chicken) and a bowl of congee braised with duck bone. The food was amazingly delicious and satisfying, especially the Pecking Duck & congee. The duck meat was grilled perfectly, juicy and tender with crispy duck skin. The congee was flavorful and went well with fried dough. Overall, we will definitely recommend Xiang Duck to our friends and also bring our family to dine there on special occasions.
