★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would only go back for that nice cup of hot, creamy and not-too-sweet soymilk, takeway!
The place is too small and I didn’t have an enjoyable experience. You have to queue to order and they will assign you the table once it is ready.
The food is quite ‘instant’ kind and probably prepared beforehand. The mantou of the burger is dry and tough. Same goes for the sesame one. The dough stick is cold and hard too.
I only liked the cong you bing, which was piping hot and fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast place, affordable prices, friendly cashier, tasty food, what more can I ask for! Do drop by if you stay around ximending area. The fried dumplings (煎饺）and savoury soy milk （咸豆浆）was awesome! Only thing is, do come early (before 9am maybe?) to avoid the crowd. The place is rather small and there's limited seating so you have to eat while standing or wait for existing customers to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst Yonghe Soy Franchises I ever had (the other one also located at Ximen, just a few shops away called Ximen Yonghe Soy).
Went there twice, because I wanted to give them benefit of doubt, both days I was given cold deep fried dough (油條 you tiao). Salted Soy Milk 鹹豆漿also worst I ever had.
Overrated breakfast place due to too many tourists that haven’t tried the good Soy Milk breakfast places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just ok if you stay near Ximending walking street and look for breakfast in the early morning. They open at 5.30 AM. The restaurant is narrow and dirty. You’d better take away the food. Pictures below show you what I ordered: original soy milk and some buns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food for price = 5/5. A little bit of wait in the morning. Make sure you go to the center line, order your food, grab a number, then wait. I made a mistake of waiting in war seemed like a line without first ordering my food. Don't be like me. Soy milk was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste wise, I love it. Especially their steamed buns. I always make my time to buy one while wandering Ximending area as a snack. Their steamed buns are fluffy, warm, and the selections are pretty wide (should try the Taro one). But for the service, I must say that it could've been improved. One of their staffs is kinda rude.. there was a man paid for his meals, and the staff handed him the changes carelessly so the coins just hit all over the floor. She stayed put behind the register while the man took it one by one... I personally feel bother about the fact that they use plastic for all the meals, whether it's takeaways or dining in :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best breakfast spot. We got the chicken and egg bun, the fried bread sticks and soy milk. The warm soy milk really hits the spot. Even on a hot morning, I'd still have one. We came here twice for breakfast and both times were busy. Luckily we only had to wait between 5-15 minutes before being seated each time. It is totally worth it in my opinion.
