★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here recently with a Taiwanese friend. Although I'm only an occasional drinker of tea, I found the experience fascinating and enjoyable. Our guide, Ronnie, was enthusiastic about describing the different styles available, well-informed about the history of the manufacturer and the overall tea-cultivation process, and empathetic to our individual tastes in tea. Her English is excellent, and she was even kind enough to recognize that I'm learning 國語 and occasionally say a few simple sentences to me at a slow pace so that I could practice. I look forward to returning with more of my friends and co-workers next time we're in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality tea and nice setup in a well maintained old Japanese style house. The service was nice and warm. The tour through the tea making and brewing process can be offered in very good quality English speaking staff (we were well looked after by Ms Lin on that day and appreciated her naturally friendly hospitality). Definitely recommended for both local people and international visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for gifts to bring back to the States and I found this tea shop. It was small but cozy. The hostess was super friendly. She introduced different choices of tea as I was looking for something more on the lighter and sweeter side. She also let me tasted some of them before I made up my mind. I left the shop happily as I didn't only buy teas for my friends, but also bought some for myself!
