★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy but friendly to dine in for one-person dining or a couple. Our experience was quite good in ordering a lunch special and a fish combo with a side dish. The food overall was among the best I've tried around the area. It's not cheap but also not expensive as some reviews claimed. Taking everything into account: quality of food, service, pricing, atmosphere, location, it was a very enjoyable meal experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are polite and that’s the only redeeming merit of this restaurant. They chef seems to have a penchant for spoiling sushi with sauces of different colours that don’t go well with the fish served. Avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the braised fish rice and this fish rice. I think I like the fish rice (see pic) more. The braised one is good too but tastes a bit like fish candy lol. Nigiri was ok but not super impressive. But the sesame tofu vege is surprisingly good. I'll come back again and try other stuff!

Price is very affordable. From NT$500, you will get 1 fresh fish cooked in your own way plus appetizer, rice & dessert.
The chef is very knowledgeable about fish. Feel free to ask anything about fish. You will be surprised that there are so many kinds of fish which you have never heard of. Be prepared to order in Chinese as that is the only language available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were missing the fresh fish of penghu and stumbled into this gem of a place where you pick fresh fish out of a basket and tell them if you want it steamed or grilled. Most people in the restaurant were eating grilled so we tried that, their salmon rice and something translated to flavor root which was like a pickled plum daikon. Everything was great! Cozy place to find a well balanced meal, especially when you don’t want to make fish in the home!
